As many young boys are, Doug was intrigued by magic at a young age.  When he was eight, he remembers watching the movie "Houdini' starring Tony Curtis.  That year for Christmas, he received "The Chest of Magic", a kit of his first magic tricks.  Since then, Doug has been an active performer, performing all over the United States - as well as becoming a teacher, consultant and collector of magic.

Doug is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the Society of American Magicians and Kidabra International.

Doug serves as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church in Leitchfield, KY.  He and his wife, Jennifer have two children, Derek and Katie.​
